Acoustic Foam Panels FAQ

What are acoustic foam panels?

Acoustic foam panels are sound-absorbing materials designed to reduce echo and improve sound quality in various environments.

How do they work?

They absorb sound waves, minimizing reflections and reverberations, creating a clearer sound experience in rooms. They reduce echo's and can reduce sharp sounds.

Are they easy to install?

Yes, just use some double sided tape, spray adhesive, nails, double sided velcro, etc. Read our guide in #[guide] for more information.

What materials are used?

Ours are made with a high density polyurethane foam. We are also experimenting with additional materials. All of our acoustic foam panels come in a grey/graphite color. This slows oxidization from discoloring the panels.

Can they be painted?

Yes, you can paint them with water-based paints without affecting their acoustic properties.

Where can I buy them?

How thick should my acoustic panels be?

Thickness depends on the frequencies you want to absorb.

  • 1" panels: Best for high frequencies and speech.

  • 2" panels: Great for mid- and high frequencies.

  • Bass traps or thicker panels: Help control low frequencies in studios and home theaters.

Do you offer wholesale?

We do offer wholesale pricing. Local to Texas is preferred, but we are happy to discuss additional opportunities as well.

Do you offer installation?

Unfortunately, we don't currently offer installation. However, we do have detailed guides on more simple room applications. Check out our guides

Will acoustic foam block outside noise?

No. Acoustic foam panels improve sound quality inside the room by reducing echo and reverberation. They are not designed to block external noise like soundproofing materials.
