Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If you're not satisfied with your acoustic foam order, our return policy is designed to be clear, fair, and protective of both you and our business.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Return requests must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, uncut, unaltered, and returned in their original packaging.

  • For hygiene and performance reasons, used, installed, or expanded acoustic foam cannot be returned.

If you wish to request a return, you must notify us by emailing contactus@soundtrapacoustics.com with a clear statement of your decision.

Return Authorization Required

  • All returns must be approved before shipment.

  • Contact us at contactus@soundtrapacoustics.com to receive a Return Authorization (RA) and return address.

  • Once an RA is issued, the return must be shipped back within 15 days.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of:

    • Wrong item received

    • Manufacturing defect

    • Damage during delivery

  • For your protection, we recommend using an insured and trackable shipping method.

  • We cannot issue a refund without receiving the returned goods or proof of delivery.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the product is received and inspected.

  • Please allow up to 30 days from the date we receive your return for your refund to be processed.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply to cover inspection, handling, and repackaging costs.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Provide photos of the item and packaging

  • We will cover return shipping and offer a replacement or full refund

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-cut or custom-made foam products

  • Any product that has been used, cut, altered, or installed

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
To receive a different item, please place a new order and return the original item following the policy above.

Right to Refuse Returns

We may refuse a return if the product:

  • Is not in original condition

  • Is used, cut, altered, or damaged

  • Is missing parts or packaging

  • Is received outside the approved return window

This is at our sole discretion.
